Reverse Batik is an innovative resist‑dyeing technique that reverses the traditional batik workflow. Instead of “applying wax first to resist dye and then dyeing the base color”, it adopts the reverse logic of “dyeing the base fabric first, then outlining patterns with wax, and revealing patterns via bleaching or secondary dyeing”. This results in patterns showing as light/original color against a dark background, creating a unique visual contrast as a creative derivation of traditional batik.

1. This product is hand-customized. The patterns are drawn stroke by stroke, so we cannot guarantee they will be exactly the same as the pictures. Each piece is a unique work of art, which is precisely the charm of handmade products.
